Here are some things you should know in order to plan and prepare for your embryo transfer. I think that is really high for anyone to claim but I told myself I need to trust my RE.Undergoing IVF to build the family of your dreams can be overwhelming, but our team is here to help every step of the way. My RE believes in day 5 and FET in which his confidence level is at 70-80%. We must also clock 7-8 hours of sleep a day. This is to help with blood circulation (I monitored my heart rate and it was at 144 at the end of 30mjns soak) and better sleep quality (I have the worst insomnia for years). My RE believes in a combination of Chinese and western medical practice so he had advised me to soak my feet every night for 30mins at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, continue to take your pre-natal and do some light exercises if you can. I am on day 17 now and will be getting my FET in 3 days. We skipped Leuplin injection (I think it was because my blood work and lining came back ok)ĭay 14 - progesterone 125ml injection at 8pmĭay 15 onwards - we added more oral medication : utrogestan and Duphaston 4 times a day and twice a day Crinone 8% virginal suppository, no PIO Start my estrogen 2x pills called Premarin four times a day for the entire duration till FETĭay 9 - ultrasound to check lining and blood test (E2, P4, LH). When my period came, this was my FET protocol: Right after my retrieval on I was on daily Plaquenil and baby aspirin. My second cycle is done in Taiwan (I live in Beijing) and my RE was educated and done his fellowship around the world. Again it varies from country to country and clinic to clinic. So here's how my schedule and protocol looks like. I did my second cycle of IVF and went with a brand new clinic after months of extensive research and chose to do FET and not fresh implant as I wanted PGS. ![]() Hi Sara - I posted this for someone earlier so I'll just do a copy/paste here. Our FET consult with the RE isn't until June 2nd and I'm going crazy with questions! 20+ Similar Discussions Found So my questions are, will I be on bcp for 3 weeks again? How long does it usually take for the lining to thicken up? I know it won't be exact, but a general timeline would be helpful. When my lining is right then they'll schedule transfer and I'll start PIO injections. I'll start bcp on CD 3-4 and then take estrogen (and maybe something else?) orally with a couple monitoring appts to check lining. so I'm currently CD 3), but that I'll call on CD 1 of the next cycle to get started. She said this cycle doesn't count (AF started this past Fri. I know FETs aren't as complicated as fresh so does that mean a FET cycle is shorter? I know every doctor is different, but I'm hoping someone has done a similar protocol and give me an idea of timing. Our nurse gave a our likely protocol, but I was wondering more about what the timeline will be. We ended up with 3 frozen from that cycle and have purchased a bundle package that includes one FET. We just had our first failed IVF/ICSI cycle (negative beta last Monday). ![]()

Michael recommends focusing on adding any words or phrases that break your typing rhythm. It can be tough to know where to start, so here’s a prioritized list of tips from Michael Yolen, Allegis’ QA Manager, for building your text expander dictionary: Here are several recommendations for adding custom abbreviations and text fragments. How to Start Building Your Text Expander Dictionary To try it out, enter your desired abbreviation and either hit the Space Bar or press Enter. And just like that, you’ve added your first text expansion phrase! Step 1, make sure the “Replace text as you type box” is checked, enter in a custom abbreviation in the “Replace:” field, type the word or phrase that you want to substitute for it in the “With:” field, select Add (step 2), and then click OK (step 3). Within the Proofing dialogue box (below), you can now add your own custom text expansion abbreviations and phrases! Here, select Proofing, and then click AutoCorrect Options. Open Word Options (Click File then Options). Here, we’ll be using Microsoft Word 2016 to demonstrate the setup steps, but the process is similar in older versions. While you won’t find a feature within Word labeled “text expander,” what I’m going to show you is how to use the Spell Check feature called AutoCorrect, which automatically corrects misspellings and other common errors as you type. Chances are, you already own the software (Allegis transcriptionists transcribe in Word). Microsoft Word’s AutoCorrect feature is a popular and simple way to begin using text expansion while transcribing. Many other text expanders were mentioned, but these were the top four. Tying for a distant second place were Shorthand 10 and Instant Text 7, and in third place was Phrase Express. When we surveyed our transcriptionists to find out what text expander software they’re using, Microsoft Word’s AutoCorrect feature came in as the clear favorite, with 46 percent listing it as their text expander of choice. Think a 30 percent increase is too extreme? Well, even a more modest 15 percent increase would bring you up to $17.25/hour! The Best Text Expanders If your earnings typically pencil out to about $15/hour, a 30 percent increase in typing speed translates to $19.50 an hour. Research has shown that transcriptionists can increase their productivity by up to 30 percent by using text expanders. Using a text expander will reduce your TAT, save keystrokes, improve accuracy, and boost your earnings. However, once you’ve integrated text expansion into your transcription work, you’ll be amazed at how you ever lived without it. On an ongoing basis, you’ll want to spend time maintaining and building your dictionary. Setup involves entering commonly used words and phrases, and creating and memorizing custom abbreviations (the “trigger” text). Text expanders require effort to set up, learn, and maintain, but you’ll thank yourself later. You’ll reduce your spelling and grammar errors by entering words and phrases perfectly once they’ll automatically be entered that way every time. Text expanders can also increase accuracy. We’ll save the advanced stuff for a later post. Advanced text expansion software can even auto-insert canned email responses, forms, and templates, but let’s keep it simple for now. You can use custom abbreviations to insert a wide range of text fragments, from single words to entire paragraphs. By using the abbreviation “acdr,” for example, you can automatically insert “accident report.” Handy, right? Insurance transcriptionists often come across the phrase “accident report.” With a text expander, you can eliminate ever needing to type this phrases out, letter by letter, again. Text expanders use custom abbreviations to insert words or phrases for you automatically. Think of text expanders as similar to the auto-complete or predictive typing on your smartphone. Luckily, it’s possible to automate the typing of repetitive words and phrases and increase your turnaround time (TAT). Repeatedly typing the same words and phrases is mind-numbing, increases keystrokes, and burns precious time. Text expanders can increase your typing speed (up to 30 percent) and you can earn more as a result. ![]() ![]() If you’re not familiar with text expanders and how they work, then this post is precisely for you. Recently, we surveyed several hundred transcriptionists on their usage of text expanders and, to our surprise, discovered that only about 70 percent use text expansion.
